The Tampa Bay Skating Academy offers many different specialty classes within the Learn-to-Skate Program.
The Adult Class is a beginning ice skating class for adults that would like to learn the basic skills and feel confident skating on their own and with their kids.
The Learn-to-Skate Competition class is open to any skater NOT currently taking private lessons that would like to participate in our upcoming ISI Recreational Figure Skating Competition.
The Parent and Tot class is a discounted program that is offered in the morning and is perfect for those parents that would like to learn to skate with their child.
The Home School Program is a great opportunity to get started in the sport of ice skating. Based on the curriculum of the ISI levels, the home school class is discounted program held in the morning and includes a 2-hour practice session. The is a perfect time to meet other home school children in the area and is a fun way to exercise.
The Hockey 101 Class is a basic hockey program that teaches skating in a Progressive order from the beginning steps through Balance, Edge control, and Stops & Starts.
Game Time is a hockey scrimmage opportunity for those wanting to practice their skills in a game environment.
