Hockey 101 and 201

Fall 2008 10 Week Semester

Hockey 101

A basic hockey program that teaches skating in a Progressive order from the beginning steps through Balance, Edge control, and Stops & Starts. Passing, Shooting & Stick and handling the puck are also worked on. A successful completion (which may require more than one session) will qualify the student for Hockey 201.

Hockey 201

This program is designed for advance skaters and members of Hockey Teams. Backward skating skills, puck control & passing are the main objectives in this class.

Class Schedule

 Each class is held once a week--choose your day.

  • $170 per person -- 10 weeks of Classes / 45 minute group lessons by professional Coach
  • Pre-Registered by August 30, 2008
  • 6 - Open Session passes, which may be used on any open session.
  • Passes Expire on November 8, 2008
  • Free Skate Rental during class
  • Walk-on sessions: $21.00
  • 10% discount for additional family members

Friday Classes: 5:30p - 6:15p

Dates:

  • Sept 5, 12, 19, 26
  • Oct 3,10, 17, 24, 31
  • November 7

Saturday Classes: 12:15 - 1:00 pm

Dates:

  • Sept 6, 13, 20, 27
  • Oct 4, 11, 18, 25
  • November 1, 8

 

Registration Information

  • You may register at TBSA or over the phone. Registration and class placement is not accepted without payment.
  • Please arrive 30 minutes early on the first day of class to check in at the registration desk and to receive instruction.
  • Skaters need to check in at the registration desk each week prior to taking the ice for class.
  • Required gear: Helmet, gloves, stick & mouth piece. Gloves & helmet available for rent in the Hockey Zone Pro Shop.
