The Tampa Bay Skating Academy is a member of the Ice Skating Institute (ISI). We model our Skating School program from this nationally recognized recreational based figure skating program. Each class level teaches skills that continually build upon the skills that were achieved in the previous level.

It is very important to learn the basic skills so that a skater has a strong foundation to keep progressing forward. A successful completion of each class level may take more than one 10-week session. The outline below will visually explain the skating school classes and how the program is structured.

The ISI has membership opportunity which enables a beginning skater to join the Oldsmar Shining Stars Skating Club, compete in local and national competitions, performs in recitals, test for badges and receive a membership card and skating magazines. Please email Nicole Purdy for more information.
